MY SHELL' BANANA LANTERN 
  
    How to make a christmas lantern made in banana 
           
    It was a tradition back i'm high school student to make a star lantern to celebrate christmas. The popular christmas lantern are usually made in bamboo stick  and paper but to odd I use banana in tagalog "Balat ng Saging"

HERE THE MATERIALS AND THE PROCEDURES

 

                                                   MATERIALS    

   "Balat ng Saging"

Shell

Rugby

Nail 

Bamboo

SAFETY FIRST=)

Before you start doing this activity, make sure you have guide from the older one before you use  a knife.. for your own safety.=) 

PROCEDURES 

1.) Prepare all your Materials   

 

2.) Get your bamboo stick.

*make three more pairs 

*thread one of the single stick through the center to form a star and tie two loose ends together with a rubber bands.

* do the same for the form a letter V and remaining stick.

* carefully full apart the center of the frame and place a peg in one corner of the pentagon.

2.)Place a "Balat ng Saging" in each of the corner

*cut small peace of "Balat ng Saging" 

3.)secure each the cover by using rugby

4.)cut strips of "Balat ng Saging"  big enough to cover the endividual panels, rugby the strips of "Balat ng Saging" on the frame with a rugby. 

5.) cut the the extra "Balat ng Saging" around to the frame. 

6.) put the shell around the corner of the lanter by using glue sticks.

7.) get a piece of rubber and put a shell.

8.) lastly clean your mess=)
